MouseLaunch 5.6

MouseLaunch Editor's Review

This one is among the best program launchers I've seen. It resides in the system tray and you only have to hold down both mouse buttons to bring it up on the desktop.

After you launch it, you can drag-and-drop folders and files onto its empty locations. You can have up to 48 files or folders prepared to be launched at any time. Since you can only have 8 files or folders show at the same time, you have to change between the three little squares in the middle of the main window in order to see the first 24. Then by holding 'Shift' and clicking both mouse buttons again, you’ll get in the same format the next 24. If you try to drag-and-drop a folders or a file onto an already occupied location, you are asked if you want to replace the existing occupant of that location.

When you want to launch a already set program, you have to hold down both mouse buttons and select one of the files or folders there. After you open your desired program the 'MouseLaunch' will go back to system tray.

I think that the user interface is as easy as it could be.

Pluses: It can hold many files and folders and they are launched very quickly. You can drag-and-drop items into MouseLaunch.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: I enjoyed very much testing this program and I think I'll start using it.
